Arthur L. Griem

Arthur Griem is an associate in Miller Canfield's Corporate and Transactions Group whose practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, commercial transactions, corporate governance, and general corporate matters.

Arthur's experience includes drafting and negotiating a wide variety of contractual agreements including purchase agreements, employment and consulting agreements, leases, and supply and service agreements. Arthur has managed due diligence undertakings throughout the lifecycle of numerous transactions ranging in value from 8 to 60 million dollars. He represents and advises businesses of all sizes, from start-up and nonprofit entities to multi-billion-dollar multinational corporations.

Arthur is admitted to practice in Michigan and New York. He is a member of the State Bar of Michigan Pro Bono Honor Roll. Before joining Miller Canfield, Arthur gained working experience in the legal department of a multinational Tier 1 automotive supplier in metro Detroit, the world's premier professional hockey league in New York City, and a global logistics company in Singapore.

Arthur earned his J.D., cum laude, from Wayne State University Law School, where he was a Governor's Scholar, chairperson of the Transactional Law Competition, and a member of the Moot Court Team. He is also a graduate of New York University, where he was on the Dean's List, National Honor Society, and was a team captain and All-Academic Team selection on the 2015 ACHA Division II Ice Hockey National Champions. Before New York University, Arthur attended the University of Vermont, where he was a member of the NCAA Division I men's ice hockey team.
