Brian S. Westenberg is a respected advisor and product liability litigator who helps companies develop a defensible and cost-conscious approach for collecting, preserving and producing documents and information for litigation discovery and regulatory reporting purposes.  He also counsels auto industry OEMs and suppliers on how to properly handle both internal and U.S. Department of Transportation (NHTSA) defect investigations, up to and including conducting a safety-related recall.  Brian also advises his auto industry clients on meeting the requirements of TREAD Act reporting to NHTSA.

Brian is a member of The Sedona Conference Working Groups on Best Practices for Electronic Document Retention and Production and Protective Orders, Confidentiality and Public Access. He is also a faculty member of The Sedona Conference Institute and is a frequent speaker on best practices for eDiscovery, confidentiality and document retention.
