Michael W. Hartmann is the Chief Executive Officer of the firm. In that position, he has used his substantial administrative experience with Miller Canfield, including serving as member and chair of the Associate Evaluation Committee, member of the Partner Evaluation Committee, member and chair of the Ethics Committee, loss prevention partner and member and chair of the Managing Directors. He works with the Managing Directors, department heads, office heads and principals to develop and execute the strategy of the firm.
Experience
Michael Hartmann has also been a commercial litigator for over 33 years. He has tried numerous cases before juries, judges and arbitrators. He has extensive experience in accounting malpractice, construction and supplier disputes. He currently represents a large regional accounting firm in professional matters. He also represents two national contractors in a variety of construction issues.
