Stephen R. Marentette is a member of the Miller Canfield bankruptcy and insolvency group devoted to representing creditors, debtors and trustees in all bankruptcy and insolvency matters throughout Ontario. He advises parties in complex restructurings, plans of arrangement under the Companies' Creditors Arrangement Act and proposals under the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act.

Experience
Stephen was part of a team that represented a client that had millions of dollars of product and equipment being held by an insolvent company that had ceased operations. Through court orders and negotiations, the team was able to quickly secure the release of their client’s equipment and product to ensure the company’s operations were not adversely affected.
