Stephanie represents lenders and borrowers in a variety of financing transactions, including asset-based lending, acquisition financings, corporate financing and syndicated financings. She represents emerging businesses in secured financings as well as assists with the Ontario portion of large international transactions.
Stephanie represents both franchisors and franchisees by preparing franchise, licensing, and distribution agreements, disclosure documents and other documents, and by advising on franchise-related matters. She also represents American franchisors who are considering bringing their franchise business to Canada by assisting them in tailoring their offering circulars to comply with Ontario law.
Experience
Stephanie keeps apprised on issues facings franchisors and franchisees by attending events in Canada and the United States held by such organizations as the International Franchise Association and the Canadian Franchise Association.
