Kimberly Berger Named a Lawyers Weekly Go-To Lawyer

December 3, 2020

Miller Canfield is pleased to announce that Kimberly Berger was named among Michigan Lawyers Weekly's Go-To Business Lawyers.

Berger is an intellectual property attorney and is part of Miller Canfield's core team that manages a trademark docket of more than 4,000 pending and registered marks in 146 countries.

She represents some of the world's most well-known and respected brands. She has extensive knowledge in her niche practice of trademark enforcement and prosecution, including assisting companies with the selection of relevant trademarks and slogans, obtaining protection from the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and taking action against infringers.

"Kim is well known not only for her legal skills, but also for her superior business judgment," said Miller Canfield Michael McGee. "She practices in an area of the law where often there are no absolute answers. Her clients trust her and are confident in the advice she provides."

Berger has earned an excellent reputation among other intellectual property attorneys, serving on the International Trademark Association's Enforcement and Internet committees and participating in the State Bar of Michigan Intellectual Property Law Council.

Berger is a frequent speaker and writer on topics related to intellectual property law and has earned numerous professional honors, including recognition in DBusiness Top Lawyers, Michigan Super Lawyers and Corporate Insider Legal Awards.

Michigan Lawyers Weekly's Go-To Business Lawyers program debuted this year. The honors recognize lawyers who are experts in their field, have a record of success, and are professionals whom other lawyers call when they need help or to refer clients and friends.
