BTI names Miller Canfield among Most Recommended Firms

July 8, 2016

Miller Canfield is proud to announce that it has been identified for the second consecutive year as one BTI Consulting Group’s Most Recommend Law Firms in the country.

According to BTI, only 40 percent of corporate counsel recommend their primary law firm to a peer. To earn such a high honor, law firms must continuously deliver not only quality legal services, but superior client service.

BTI reported that clients recommend their law firms based on factors such as the law firms’ ability and  willingness to embrace a client’s new metrics and measures, their openness to ask for client feedback on performance and respond accordingly, and the performance goals law firms set for themselves, particularly when they are tied to client goals.

“We consider peer to peer recommendations to be the highest compliment, indicating a level of trust that we strive to earn with every client engagement,” said Miller Canfield CEO Mike McGee. “We are proud to be among the elite group of law firms to receive such an honor.”

The analysis contained in the Most Recommended Law Firms report is based solely on in-depth interviews with leading legal counsel at major companies with $1 billion or more in revenue.
